It occurs to me at this time that, although we share residency in a great community, we don't really know many of our neighbors it seems. Everyone is busy or, perhaps, too shy to extend themselves to others.

I'd like to suggest that over the coming year we extend to each other, at a minimum, a wave from the car or a smile when we meet in the mail room or on a walk.

Time and acknowledgement are the greatest gifts one can offer another, I think, and you'll see me waving as I usually do. Hope you'll wave back!
